FAQ

  • Do you provide fishing gear?
Yes we provide all fishing gear, bait and tackle. Our rod and reel combos are spin setups. If you would like to bring your own gear, we encourage you to do so provided you have minimum 20 pound line, 40 pond leader.
  • Do you get to keep your catch?
If you’d like to keep your catch, Barramundi is available at $35 per kilo. We only bleed and bag, as we do not have a processing facility for gutting or filleting. We sell Barramundi under 70 cm, with no minimum size limit, as we are a farm.
  • Am I guaranteed to catch a fish?
While there are no guarantees when it comes to wildlife, we have a few clever techniques to encourage the fish if they’re not biting on the day.
  • How do I find you?
The easiest way to find us is by entering ‘Barramundi Adventures Darwin’ into Google Maps. Due to new road developments that are not yet updated on Google Maps, we recommend following our onsite signage for the most accurate directions
  • What are your opening times?
We operate as a bookings-only facility, offering a morning session from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and an afternoon session from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Session times may vary depending on group sizes and pre-booked functions. To ensure everyone has the best chance to land the iconic NT barramundi, we limit sessions to under 20 guests (excluding private functions). Bookings are essential to maintain this experience.
